Browns Interviewing Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy On Friday

The Cleveland Browns announced this morning (Friday) that they are interviewing Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy today for the Browns head coaching job.

Yesterday (Thursday), the Browns met with former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy and Bills OC Brian Daboll.

The Chiefs HC Andy Reid has that he expects his OC Bieniemy to have a head coaching position this offseason. Last years offseason Bieniemy met with a number of teams for their head coaching position: Jets, Bengals, Dolphins, and Buccaneers.

The Browns still have a list of other candidates that they are expected to interview:

  • 49ers DC Robert Saleh
  • Ravens OC Greg Roman
  • 49ers PG Coordinator Mike LaFleur
  • Vikings OC Kevin Stefanski
  • Patriots OC Josh McDaniels

The Baylor HC Matt Rhule declined the interview with the Cleveland Browns in the middle of this week.
